Our Clinical Staff

Therese A. Rando, Ph.D., BCETS, BCBT Clinical Director

Marjorie H. Lamphear, Ph.D., LMHC, CT

Dr. Lamphear is a clinical psychologist, who has been with ISTL since 2008. Prior to this, for many years Dr. Lamphear was a therapist working with individuals impacted by homicide, suicide, and accident. In pursuit of furthering her skills in traumatic bereavement and complicated mourning, she has become a Certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Clinician and an EMDR International Association Approved Consultant. Two other areas where she has received extensive training are in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and the clinical applications of the Polyvagal Theory, with both of these approaches having been found extremely helpful in addressing the ways that trauma is remembered in the nervous system and body. In 2003, Dr. Lamphear achieved the status of Certified Traumatologist, which was awarded by the Academy of Traumatology.
